Organ Systems
The human body is a highly integrated collection of organ systems and the primary faculty focuses on three: the nervous system, cardiovascular system, and the urinary system. The primary and secondary faculty also spends time researching several other organ systems, including respiratory and endocrine. A unique aspect of our Department is that we can approach problems in each of these systems in an integrative fashion from the level of the atom to that of the whole organism.
