Koyal Ansingkar is a medical physiology graduate student with a strong interest in aerospace physiology and medicine. She received a research grant from the Air Force Research Laboratory and Defense Associated Graduate Student Innovation in March 2022 to investigate the effects of hypobaria, hypoxia, and hyperoxia on the blood-brain barrier in a mouse model. Koyal received her bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and will be relocating to Houston, TX, in summer 2023 to pursue both a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Engineering degree at Texas A&M University.
