The Department of Physiology and Biophysics offers 10-week summer research traineeships to 5-6 undergraduate students interested in gaining an experience in biomedical research. The traineeship provides an opportunity for firsthand knowledge of how new data are obtained and interpreted. Following notification of acceptance, the selected applicants will be contacted by the Mentoring Faculty and offered places in individual laboratories where they will work under the faculty mentorship.
Applications are accepted till March 31st and decisions on acceptance into the program are made on a continuous and first come/first considered basis. Most decisions for acceptance will be made by April 15th although applications may be accepted and decisions on acceptance could be made after this date.
